I like both for different reasons but would give them each a 7/10. I think it's quite subjective depending on cuticle shape, the length you like and how much "work" you want to put in for the application. I don't love the fit of Apres and it irritates me that their sizes are not consistent from shape to shape, or length to length. I have a client who wears a size up from the medium almond to the medium coffin, for example, except one nail. For such an expensive brand, this should not happen and I've heard many of the same complaints from other techs over the 7 years I've used them. BTArtbox always fits, the same sizes, no matter what shape or length I use. I do have to file the cuticle slightly for my middle fingers but it's because those are slighly more trapazoidal than my other fingers. I sometimes use them on clients as well and they love the natural feel of these. I love them for making pressons as well and have them in many shades and shapes.

One thing about ancestry. The results will say “Cameron Congo west bantu” you might think that means your ancestors were taken from Cameroon, but click more info … it should say “Angola or Congo” and then look around the USA if there is any place called Angola penitentiary, Angola Florida, Congo square or statues featuring Gullah Jack or Stono rebellion near you.
Apparent the bantu (bantu knots ppl)left Cameroon thousands of years ago and split up going east , south or west . The west bantu found land full of gold, oil , coltan and built kingdoms , portugal and other Europeans decided they wanted those resources and removed the West bantu ppl dropping them off in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and USA (Virginia 1619, South Carolina and Louisiana ) France took over Congo and all their gold comes from Congo , Portugal took over Angola & is rich off the oil. and as of March 2024 apple corporation - said they want coltan (Google apple coltan congo)- they need that mineral to power our laptops. And the original ppl who lived in that rich land is scattered in north and South America. The president of Angola came to Virginia USA and Brazil and said we can come to Angola, our ancestors were sold but was prisoners of war when Portugal took over.
